Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
Effective Date: 4/6/2025
At Our Perfect Plan LLC we are dedicated to providing excellent event planning services and ensuring that our clients have a seamless experience. However, we understand that sometimes situations change, and we aim to be fair and transparent regarding refunds. Please review our refund policy below.
1. Non-Refundable Deposit
-
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date and services. This deposit is specified in the Service Agreement and is typically 20% of the total event cost.
-
The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances, as it covers the costs of reserving time and resources for your event.
2. Cancellation by the Client
If you choose to cancel the event, the following refund conditions apply:
-
Cancellation More Than 14 Days Before the Event: If you cancel the event more than 14 days prior to the scheduled event date, you will be refunded any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.
-
Cancellation Less Than 14 Days Before the Event: If you cancel the event less than 14 days before the event date, no refund will be issued for any payments made, as substantial planning and resources have already been allocated to your event.
-
Event Rescheduling: If you wish to reschedule the event, we will make every effort to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. Rescheduling may incur additional fees based on changes to vendors, venues, or other event-related logistics.
3. Cancellation by Our Perfect Plan LLC
We strive to provide the highest quality service to our clients. However, if for any reason we are unable to fulfill our obligations as agreed (due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, force majeure events, or other factors beyond our control), we will:
-
Notify you as soon as possible and offer a full refund for any amounts paid, including the deposit.
-
Where possible, we will assist in finding a replacement planner or event coordinator to help you fulfill your event planning needs.
4. Refunds for Services Not Rendered
If any agreed-upon services are not provided (e.g., due to vendor issues, equipment failures, etc.), we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis. A partial or full refund may be issued if the service is deemed to have been unmet.
5. Force Majeure (Unforeseeable Circumstances)
In the event of a force majeure event (such as a natural disaster, government restrictions, pandemic, or other events beyond our control), we will make every effort to reschedule your event. If rescheduling is not possible, we will offer a partial or full refund, depending on the nature of the event and services rendered.
6. Refund Process
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 7 - 14 business days of the cancellation or event date. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used by the Client at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon.
7. Additional Fees
If there are any additional fees incurred during the event planning process (e.g., late fees, travel costs, vendor deposits) that have already been paid or are non-refundable, the Client agrees that these costs will not be refunded.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you feel the need to request a refund and are not satisfied with our resolution, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the issue. If a resolution is not reached, any disputes will be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution process outlined in our Terms and Conditions.
